Palm Jumeirah is one of the three man-made island in Dubai, it is also known as the Palm island. This ambitious and iconic project has greatly enhanced Dubai’s reputation for the luxurious and innovative development. It is shaped like a Palm tree with a central trunk and 16 fronds radiating outwards.
Palm Jumeirah offers a variety of villas, apartments, and upscale hotels. The region is renowned for its affluent amenities and real estate. The Atlantis resort is one of Palm Jumeirah’s most iconic landmarks, a luxury hotel and entertainment complex with multiple dining options, an aquarium, and a water park.
Swimming option is also available in Palm Jumeirah. Numerous hotels and private locations provide access to the beach and swimming pools. Even if you don’t want the hotel booking, there is a range of offers and day passes available.
Construction
June 2001 marked the starting the construction of Palm Jumeirah island, and the developers stated that the construction of building started in 2006 and they welcomed first resident in 2007. Seven million tons of rock and 94 million cubic meters of sand were used to create Palm Jumeirah island.
